Talks

As a scholar and a commentator, I organise and participate in panel discussions. Some of the recent events I have taken part in include:

  • How Can Fashion Media Value Society? organised by Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion. Alongside me, the panel included Rachel Arthur, UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Melenie Hecker and Lilian Weiermann from The Stitch. The panel was moderated by Monica Buchan-Ng, Head of Knowledge Exchange at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion.

  • Hacking the Fashion & Luxury Watchmaking Industry towards more Sustainability organised at the 51st St Gallen Symposium. The panel included Martina Bonnier, Editor-In-Chief, Vogue Scandinavia, Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega and Carmen Jenny, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the CLOTHESfriends app. I organised and moderated this discussion.

  • Global Fashion Perspectives discussion organised by Condé Nast College. Alongside me, the panel included Emily Chan Senior Sustainability & Features Editor at British Vogue and Yoanna “Pepper” Chikezie, founder of The Assembly. The panel was moderated by Ruth Marshall-Johnson, Futures Researcher
