The Pagodenburg

On the grounds of Nymphenburg Palace, the Pagodenburg was built between 1716 and 1719 by German architect and decorator Joseph Effner to a commission from Maximilian II, Wittelsbach ruler of Bavaria.

Built as a "maison de plaisance" this octagonal, two story pavilion has blue and white Delft tile decoration downstairs and Chinoiserie upstairs. My aim is to see this today.
